The first Out & Proud Market launched in June 2023 as part of Salt Lake City’s Pride Month celebrations — a colorful, community-driven market spotlighting LGBTQ+ artists, makers, and small businesses. Hosted by Kissing Whiskey Vintage and Vintage Drift SLC, the event featured over 30 queer-owned vendors, live music, local food trucks, and affirming spaces for connection and celebration.

The event drew local media attention for its joyful energy and inclusive mission, becoming a new Pride tradition for Salt Lake’s 900 South creative corridor. Coverage from Utah news outlets highlighted it as a “love letter to queer community and creativity.”
